Frayne earns post-season honors

The accolades keep accumulating for Garner-Hayfield-Ventura’s Carlee Frayne, as she continueds to be recognized for her golf skills.

Frayne, who placed fourth in the Class 2A State Golf Tournament in May, was named First Team All State and First Team All Tournament in Class 2A.

Frayne was also named to the Des Moines Register’s All-Iowa girls’ golf team.  The selections to this team are split up among an all-class Elite Team and a first team for each class.  The All-Iowa selections will be honored June 21 at the Des Moines Register Sports Awards, where former NFL star and Super Bowl champion, Kurt Warner, will be the guest speaker.  Frayne earned the honor in Class 2A.

Frayne is a junior at GHV.
