No injuries in car, truck accident

Emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle accident without injuries at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2.  A 2014 Buick driven by Nancy Walker, 67, from Clear Lake, was turning left from Finch Avenue onto 290th Street and didn’t see a dump truck driven by Curtis Sargent, 52, from Floyd, Iowa traveling west on 290th Street. Sargent swerved to avoid hitting Walker and ended up in the north ditch with the vehicle flipped on its side.  Both drivers were treated at the scene by the Clear Lake Fire Department.  No charges were filed.-Reporter photo by Chris Barragy.
