Santa’s House is latest collectible ornament

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the latest edition to its Historical Ornament Series-- Santa’s House at City Park.  The ornament is available now for $19 at the Chamber of Commerce office, 205 Main Ave., through its online gift shop, or at select local retailers.

In 2007, Clear Lake residents joined with the local business community to build a new Santa House.  With a roster of donations longer than Santa’s Nice List, the new house is now one of the premiere Santa Houses in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota.  Over 2,000 children visit the Santa House each year, especially during the annual Christmas By The Lake event.  

The Santa House is open weekends starting after Thanksgiving leading up to Christmas and is located downtown in Clear Lake’s City Park.

The Clear Lake Area Chamber Collectors Ornament Series began in 1999. The Santa House ornament is part of the ongoing series and will be available beyond the year of production. For a complete listing of available ornaments, stop in to the Chamber Office or visit www.clearlakeiowa.com.
