     Patricia Ann Hoyt, 76, 531 12th Ave. N., Clear Lake, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her home.
     Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 25, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura, with Rev. Daird Korth officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, and one hour preceding the service at the church. Interment will be at the Concord Cemetery, Garner, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the Patricia Hoyt Memorial Fund.

Louis E. Schuler, Sr., 92, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minn.  

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Galilean Lutheran Church, 4454 255th St., Hwy. 18 W., Clear Lake, with Rev. Scot McCluskey officiating with Military Honors conducted by the Clear Lake V.F.W.  Visitation with the family will be Friday, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, and one hour preceding the service

Roberta “Bert” Jane (Buck) Schlichting, 64, died on Feb. 23, 2014 at 6 a.m. at the Hospice of North Iowa, in Mason City.  She lost her four-year battle with breast cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Rev. Dean Hess officiating.  Her wish was to be cremated following the service.  A private 

Tiffany J. Banta Chyann R. Banta

Tiffany Jean Banta, 19, and Chyann Rynae Banta, 15, of Forest City, Iowa, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, near Crystal Lake, Iowa as a result of injuries received in an auto accident.

Visitation for the sisters will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick Lane, Belmond, Iowa.  

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura High School Auditorium.  Pastor Rod Hopp will officiate.

The Dugger Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements.

Thelma “Grace” Heston, 95, Clear Lake, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.  A funeral was held on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with Rev. Kirk Wilkie officiating.  Burial was in 

Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.  Family suggests memorials to Thelma Grace Heston memorial fund in care of Dr. Michael Heston, 1411 4th St. S.W., Mason City, Iowa, 50401.

John “Jack” Irvin Moor, 74, of Clear Lake, Iowa died on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at his home.  Online condolences may be left at www.fullertonfh.com. 

A funeral service was held on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Fullerton Funeral Home, Mason City.  Rev. Bernie Colorado was 

the officiant from the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake.  Interment followed at the Rockwell Cemetery in Rockwell, Iowa.

Inez Ione Cozad, 66, Clear Lake, formerly of Bedford, Iowa, died Friday, July 26, at the Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake.

A celebration of Inez’s life will be held at a later date.
