Karin S. Hartnett

Karin Sue Hartnett, 51, of 707 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her home.

Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. John Gossman officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church.  Family suggests memorials go to the Humane 

Society of North Iowa.

Karin was born in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Robert and Gisela (Jansen) Oliphant.

Beverly Trumbull

Beverly Trumbull, 78, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Unity Point Hospice Unit, Cedar Rapids, after a brief illness. A service was held on March 30, 2015 at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.  Burial was in the Coggon Cemetery, Coggon, Iowa.

Robert Rippentrop

Robert “Rip” Rippentrop, 71, of Rockwell, Iowa, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, surrounded by family at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa. Rip donated to the Iowa Donor Network.

Celebration of his life was held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Grace Evangelical Free Church, Mason City, with Pastor Scott Davis officiating.  Family suggests memorials to Robert Rippentrop memorial fund.

Randy Thomas Kaster

Randy Thomas Kaster, 59, 102 W. Lake St., Ventura, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.

     A Celebration of Life was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, Iowa with Mark Doebel officiating.  

According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.  Inurnment will be at the Ventura Cemetery at a later date.  

Lora L. Proctor

Lora LaGrace Proctor, 87, Clear Lake, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

     A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 26, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Mark Doebel officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.  Interment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Oakwood Care Center, 400 Hwy 18 W., Clear Lake, in her name.

Patricia Notestine

Patricia Eireen Notestine, 64, Clear Lake, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

A memorial Mass for Patricia will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1001 9th Ave. S., Clear Lake, with the Reverend John A. Gossman officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date in the Lake View Cemetery in Spirit Lake, 

Henrietta Muth

Henrietta Fern Muth, 82, of Rockwell, Iowa, formerly of Clear Lake, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Rockwell Nursing Home.   Funeral services were held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, with pastor Sid Bohls, of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating. A private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, at a later date. 

Jerry L. Hepperly

Jerry L. Hepperly, 74, of Clear Lake, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City, Iowa.

A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, in the Chapel at Good Shepherd Health Center, 302 2nd St. NE, Mason City, with the Rev. Janet Dorenkamp officiating.

  Jerry L. Hepperly was born Oct. 9, 1940, at Britt, Iowa, the son of Louis and Eleanor (Wright) Hepperly. He was united in marriage to Nina Trimble on June 10, 1962, at Ventura.

Marjorie Watson

Marjorie Jean Suttcliffe Treu Watson passed away peacefully Jan. 12, 2015 at home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, surrounded by family.  

Margie was born in Clear Lake on May 5, 1929, to Harold and Letty Sutcliffe and was the youngest of four sisters.  She grew up during the height of the great depression and often related stories of hardship and hunger from her early childhood.  When in high school she met the love of her life, Gaylord Beryl Treu.

Richard Goscinski

Richard William Goscinski, 39, of Clear Lake, died suddenly from a truck accident on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Agape Christian Family Church, Clear Lake, with Pastor David and Kris Toyne officiating.  Family suggests memorials to Richard William Goscinski memorial fund.  

As in life, Richard gave, and after his death he participated in Iowa Donor to help others.
