Water Department Superintendent Adam Theiss has declared the 2021 “ice-out”date on Clear Lake as Tuesday, March 23.  At the time of ice-out the lake measured 0.48 inches below the weir.

The Clear Lake boys track team kicked off the 2021 season by sending three events to the UNI Meet on Tuesday, March 9, and the team to Humboldt for the A.D. Dickinson Relays on Friday, March 12.

(Above) St. Patrick’s Day, 1971 - These “little people” - Jackie O’Bell and Todd O’Grimm wished everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day in 1971, even if you weren’t Irish.  Jackie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bell and Todd, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grimm.  Both were first graders at Lincoln School.
