David Alan Adams, 56, of Clear Lake, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dr. Pat Hall officiating. Burial will be at Clear Lake Cemetery.

Dave was born June 21, 1963, the son of Charles Lee and Joanne Ellen (Finholt) Adams, in Cedar Falls. He married Shelly Ann Pralle on Aug. 3, 1990, in Hampton, and to that union, three sons were born.

The Reverend Gordon (Gordy) Grimm, age 86, died peacefully on Jan. 5, 2020, at Ecumen, in North Branch, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. in Center City.  Memorials preferred to: Gillette Lifetime Specialty Healthcare, The Retreat, Hazelden, and Chisago Lakes Lutheran Church.

Ruth Marilyn Evenson Brictson Johnson passed away peacefully on Jan. 9, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Postville, Iowa.

A funeral Service was held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Monona, Iowa with the Rev. Erika Lenth as the officiant.  Interment will be held at a later date.

Jerry F. Krause, 85, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, at the Oakwood Care Center, in Clear Lake.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 508 2nd Ave. N., with the Rev. David Peterson officiating.

  In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, memorials may be given to MercyOne North Iowa - Hospice in Jerry’s name.
