GHV girls soccer team falls to Aplington-Parkersburg

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura girls soccer team faced Aplington-Parkersburg on Thursday, May 2, at home.  The Falcons handed the Cardinals a big, 5-1, loss.

Chloe Johnson scored GHV’s lone goal.  She also had two shots on goal and one corner kick.  Alison Johnson also had two shots on goal.

Liz Richardson played the entire game in goal.  She had 12 saves.

Starting the game for the Cardinals was Richardson, Brielle Smeby, Megan Eastman, Bretta Carolus, Chloe Johnson, Chloe Frank, Alison Johnson, Jayden Frank, Macey Spilman, Abby Sokol and Hanna Knoll.  Also seeing playing time was Shelby Hawke, Abby Christians, and Morgan Ryerson.
