Heather A. Siesseger-Baken
Heather Ann Siesseger-Bakken, 42, of Mason City, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, in Mason City.
Per her family’s wishes, Heather’s body will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Heather’s family, in care of John and Judy Siesseger.
Heather was born Sept. 20, 1977, the daughter of John and Pricilla (Wallace) Siesseger, in Mason City. She married Brad Bakken on April 3, 2015, in Mason City.
A graduate of Mason City High School, Heather worked various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and taking care of her pets; especially her dog, Marley. She had a very generous heart and most of all, she loved being with her daughter, Tana.
Heather is survived by her parents, John and Judy Siesseger, of Clear Lake; husband, Brad Bakken, of Mason City; daughter, Tana Dean, of Mason City; step-siblings, Angela (Doug Sorenson) Jansen, of Mason City, Kim (Vance) Wendel, of Clear Lake, Jason (Becky) Jansen, of Payson, AZ. and Addy (Matt) Kitner, of Clear Lake; and maternal grandmother, Shirley Wallace, of Mason City.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
