100 Years Ago September 1915
On Monday evening during the discharge of fireworks on the lake front, one of the bombs discharged sending sparks flying over the houses near the camp grounds and one of the sparks lighted on the roof of the H.P. Stevens home and set the roof on fire.
The City Council met in regular session. Protests were made to paving on East Main, Second Street and State Street. After consideration of objections, the council voted to pave the above streets anyway. Progression must be made.
A cow that came to my premises can be claimed by proving ownership and paying for its damages. Emil Anderson.
