50 Years Ago June 1965

Thousands of vacationers and visitors found their way to Clear Lake last weekend to get relief from the hot, humid temperatures.  Boats also crowded the lake and many fishermen reported good luck.  Clear Lake State Park had cars lined up on the outside grass and the beach was packed, despite high winds.  A gentleman from the West Coast even tried a little surfing.

Members of the Clear Lake 1965 baseball team include: Rich Calhoun, Tom Keenan, Don Anderson, Chuck Vega, Les Cookman, Tom Anderson, Mike Ransom, Jim McDonald, Tom Berge, Denny Warren, Rich Folsom, Mark Schoneman, Mark Thompson, Kerry Frampton, Ken Thomas, Bob Budolfson and Dick Dillavou.  The team is coached by Duane Brandt.
