Roscoe Miller has purchased from Mason’s Garage another milk truck similar to the one Mr. Miller has been driving this past year.

Clifford Hanson, of Clear Lake, received a compound fracture of the right leg Sunday afternoon in the jalopy race at the Mason City Fairgrounds.  His roaring machine was thrown over the race, caught fire and Hanson was taken to the Park Hospital.

One section of the Hill Top Motel has been completed and furnished and now open for business.  It is located on the old side of the Oaks Hotel and managed by Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Valley.
