Arnie Drew Nichols, 57, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services were held on Monday, Aug. 10, at the Open Bible Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Will Hunsacker officiating. Family suggests memorials to Arnie Drew Nichols Memorial Fund.

Arnie was born July 12, 1958, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Kennedy) Nichols.  He graduated from Britt High School in 1976.

He worked at Opportunity Village, Clear Lake.  Arnie enjoyed photography, fishing, gourmet cooking and especially shooting pistol with his daughter.  His favorite saying was, “Go with the flow.”

Arnie is survived by his daughter, Kristyn (Tony) Maciej, Farmington, Minn.; three granddaughters, Kylie, Brianna and Alivia; his parents, Don and Dorothy Nichols, Clear Lake; his brother, Ken Nichols, Clear Lake; and nieces and nephews, Leslie, Lindsey and Joe.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
