Bonnie Snow

Bonnie L. Snow, 78, of Mason City, Iowa, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa, in Mason City.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Clear Lake.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Bonnie Snow Memorial Fund.

Bonnie was born on July 6, 1939, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Rush) Johnson, in Mason City. She graduated from Mason City High School in the class of 1957 and attended Hamilton Business College, in Mason City.

Bonnie worked at the Clear Lake Bakery, Cerro Gordo County Care and Opportunity Village (One Vision). She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church, in Mason City. She enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, and cross stitching. She also loved baking many different goodies for the holidays.

Bonnie is survived by two children, Tammy Johnson, of Gilbert, Az. and Jim (Linda) Jenson, of Rockwell, Iowa; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Arlene (Merlyn) Albrecht, of Parkersburg, Iowa, and Sonny (Pat) Blanchard, of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Jenson; a son, Billy Despenas; and a sister, Mary (Honey) Slattum.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
