Bradley Cosgriff

Bradley Alan Cosgriff, 56, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, in Mason City, Iowa.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 508 2nd Ave. N., with the Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Thompson officiating.  Inurnment was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Brad was born Dec. 18, 1959, the son of Daniel H. and Patsy (Weidner) Cosgriff, in Des Moines, Iowa.  He married Sherri Sylvester on Aug. 2, 1980, in Clear Lake.  She preceded him in death on April 13, 1998.

Brad grew up and attended school in Des Moines before moving to Clear Lake.  He worked for Water Tower Paint and Repair and most recently for Winnebago Industries.

Brad loved spending time with his grandkids and riding his motorcycle.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Brad is survived by three children, Shannon Cosgriff, of Clear Lake, Heather (Paul) Becthold, of Nashua, Iowa, Christopher (Missy) Cosgriff, of Maynard, Iowa; and his dog, Max; eight grandchildren, Sydnee, Parker, Henry, Clara, Kennedy, Angela, Allison, and Mackenzie; three siblings, Carolyn Cosgriff, of Plano, Tex, Dave Cosgriff, of Johnston, and Dawn Kae Cosgriff, of Grimes; significant other, Lori McMenimen, of Clear Lake; stepson, Max Boonstra; and mother-in-law, Sharon Jorgensen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Patsy Cosgriff and Don Frus; wife, Sherri; a grandson, Jason Michael; and father-in-law, Charles Jorgensen.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Toys for Tots, Make-A-Wish Foundation, or the Humane Society of North Iowa.
