Carrie Glanville, 60, of Clear Lake, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2018

Per Carrie’s wishes her body has been cremated, and a private family service is planned.

Carrie was born Nov. 8, 1958, in Des Moines, to Janet Albright and George Clark.  She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School and was married to Ron Glanville 21 years before he passed away two years ago.

Carrie made her home with Ron in Clear Lake.  She volunteered there over the years.  Her love for her animals and gardening was her greatest passion.  Carrie will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Family members include her mother, Janet Albright; sisters, Cindia (John) Badger, Cathy (Tom) Goldman, Cheryl Clark; and her aunt and uncle, Betty and Tom Cady; and her niece and nephews, Alec and Jason Badger, Jennifer Goldman Nemecek, Brad Goldman and Conner Teply, all from Des Moines.

Carrie was preceded in death by her father, George Clark; and her loving husband, Ron Glanville.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
