Changes made in Veteran’s Day program plans

A change has been announced in the Veteran’s Day program planned Friday at Clear Lake High School.

The public, including veterans, will now NOT be allowed inside the school building and E.B. Stillman Auditorium, and will not take part in the flag raising outside at 9:30 a.m.

The program will be aired live from the school district’s Facebook page and through the Clear Lake Telephone Company’s cable programming.

School officials say the change is due to the latest surge in positivity rate of COVID.  The district expresses its deepest concern for the health and safety of all community members.
