CL, MC School Boards likely to vote on sharing
The Clear Lake School Board is expected to vote Wednesday, Dec. 16, about its willingness to continue in sharing agreements with the Mason City School District.
Monday night the boards conducted their annual informal meeting and discussed pros and cons of sharing a superintendent, IT and food service directors.
State funding for sharing incentives has diminished in the years since the sharing agreements were started and in recent years members of each board have questioned the value of sharing.
The Clear Lake Board will hold its next regular meeting Dec. 16, while the Mason City Board will meet Dec. 21.
