Clear Lake girls top St. Ed’s in tennis action

The Clear Lake girls tennis team topped St. Ed’s on the tennis court Monday, April 15.  The Lions were 6-3 winners.

Four victories were earned in singles play, with Maranda Harrison, Jessica Theobald, Stephanie Penning and Kaley Meyer all recording victories.

In doubles, Harrison teamed with Kaylee Nosbisch for an 8-2 win.  Theobald and Penning also made a winning team, 8-1.

Harrison (CL) over Jacque O’berg, 8-2.

Theobald (CL) over Jillian Cosgrove, 8-6

Lizzie Gailey (SE) over Nosbisch, 9-7

Penning (CL) over Maggie Lennon, 8-4

Meyer (CL) over Leah Neverman, 8-2

Sydney Engels (SE) over Kara Reinieke, 8-6

Doubles

Harrison/Nosbisch (CL) over  O’berg/Cosgrove, 8-2

Theobald/Penning (CL) over Gailey/Lennon, 8-1

Neverman/Engels (SE) over Meyer/Reineke, 8-4
