Clear Lake hosts triathlon

The first TRI Clear Lake sprint triathlon took place in Clear Lake on Saturday, June 10.  The windy weather didn’t deter the participants who completed a 750 meter swim, a 12.4 mile bike course and finished with a 3.1 mile run. In the foreground is Clear Lake lifeguard McKenna Backhaus who was helping swimmers when they struggled in the choppy water.  Results of the race can be found on page 5  -Reporter photo by Chris Barragy
