Clear Lake man chased down, arrested on drug charges
Chad Tannahill, of Clear Lake, was arrested in Mason City Friday, March 7, on a charge of possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine.
According to a report from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Tannahill, 45, shortly before 4 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Madison Avenue after a short foot chase.
After a short investigation at the scene, deputies charged Tannahill possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a Class C felony, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tannahill is in the Cerro Gordo County Jail serving a sentence for failure to pay child support, and is also being held on $10,000 cash bond on the methamphetamine charge.
Tannahill is scheduled to appear court Friday, March 14, on the drug charge.
