Clear Lake School Board changes meeting date to Wednesdays

The Clear Lake School Board has announced a change in its regular meeting schedule.

Effective today (Wednesday, Sept. 9), the Board of Education will hold a monthly planning and regular meeting on the second Wednesday of each month in the Clear Lake Administration Center Board Room, located at the Middle School building.

On the second Wednesday of each month the board will allocate time from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. for a planning/work session.  No action will be taken.  That will be followed by a regular meeting of the Board at 6:30 p.m. each month.

For many years the Board has met twice monthly on Mondays, with one meeting being a planning session where no action was taken; the second was a regular business meeting.  The change was necessitated by a scheduling conflict on Monday with members of the newly elected School Board.
