Word was received from Sun City, Az., that Dale K. Snyder passed away on March 19, 2017 from natural causes.  He was a former resident of Clear Lake, and Eagle Grove, Iowa.

The Eagle Grove V.F.W. will hold military honors at the Rose Hill cemetery on May 5, at 11:30 a.m.  Lunch will be served at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Eagle Grove, following the graveside service.

Dale served his country from 1943-1946 at Camp Roberts, in California. He then served in the Philippines, and South Pacific and Japan homeland right after the surrender.

He is survived by his brother, Dean (Joanne) Snyder and family, in Clear Lake; daughters, Rama (Richard) Anderson and Doris (Gordon); grandsons, Steven (Jayme) and Brian (Meridan); and three great-grandsons in Monroe, Iowa; and two great-grandsons in Idaho.

Dale is preceded in death by his wife, Ona; and his parents, George and Ida Snyder; and one great-granddaughter, Maven.Please contact the church ahead of time at (515) 448-3697 if you plan on attending the luncheon after the graveside service.
