Daryl L. Ostercamp, 83, Moorhead, Minn., died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, in Sanford Health, Fargo, N.D.

A funeral was service was held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.  Memorials preferred to Ostercamp International Scholarship Fund, Concordia College, Moorhead.

Daryl Lee Ostercamp, son of Otto and Ruth (Lee) Ostercamp was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Garner, Iowa.  He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1949.  Post high school education was at Waldorf College, in Forest City, Iowa, St. Olaf College, University of Wisconsin, and University of Minnesota, where he received his PhD in 1959.

On June 21, 1958, Daryl married Janet Freed.  In 1960, he joined the faculty of Concordia College, Moorhead, in their chemistry department, retiring in 2002.

Survivors include his wife, Janet, Moorhead; sons, Stephen (Marie-Francoise) and Rev. Daniel (Kristin) Ostercamp; four grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Genevieve) Ostercamp.

Funeral  service is Friday, September 11, 2015, at 11 AM in The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.
