Dogs boost training

Clear Lake High School cross country runners changed up their training routine a bit last week and enlisted the help of some four-legged friends at Patriots for Pets.  Aliyah Bennett (pictured in front) had the idea to involve the rescue dogs in a workout and organized the outing.  “Our whole team participated. It was awesome watching the kids interact with the dogs,” said Coach Nick DiMarco.  “I think it was as good for the runners as it was for the dogs.” - Reporter photo by Chris Barragy.
