Eileen McDaid was born on Aug. 19, 1967 in Mason City, the daughter of Shaun and Marilyn (Nielsen) McDaid.  Eileen graduated from Newman Catholic High School on May 26, 1985.  She attended North Central College in Fort Dodge and received her degree in massage therapy, which was inspired by her mother. She operated her own massage business in Clear Lake, before her free spirit took her to California, where she continued massage therapy.
