Fun on the ice

Activity on Clear Lake has increased ever since the lake was declared “iced-in” Thursday, Dec. 7.

(Above) Over the weekend ice boats were speeding across the lake with ease.  Snow predicted to fall this week may slow ice conditions, but falling temperatures will keep the ice in place.

Officials warn the public to use extreme caution on the ice, as no ice is ever considered completely safe.
