“Even though we did not have a winning season, the girls improved their play throughout the season. They were a coachable group of girls who were committed to being part of a team,” said Coach Kelsey Steffens.
The Cardinals will say goodbye to five seniors, Sydney Childress, Payton Bamrick, Katie Rasmusson, Taryn Carolus and Miranda Jackson.
“This year there was a solid group of underclassmen on the team, so that is encouraging to bring back some experience for next year,” said Steffens.
The Cardinals ended their season with a record of 6-18.
