Giving Tree reaches milestone

We are happy to report that by the time you are reading this, all of the ornaments have been chosen from The Giving Tree.  As of Tuesday afternoon just a few remained and generous Clear Lakers have made donations to allow us to contribute even more to families who have asked for some assistance this holiday season.   The Giving Tree is a collaboration between the Clear Lake Mirror-Reporter and Clear Lake Community School District.  Those who have checked out ornaments from the Mirror-Reporter office are reminded that wrapped gifts and food cards must be returned no later than noon Monday, Dec. 14.  Families are then notified when gifts are ready for pick up.
