James C. Hill
James C. “Jim” Hill, 50, of Clear Lake, died Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Chaplin Ed Bard of Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jim was born Jan. 30, 1966, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Larry and Ada (Tobey) Hill. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1984.
He worked for the pipeline on various job sites throughout the United States, with many of his good friends of the Pipeline Union Brothers. He lived most of his life in Clear Lake, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and landscaping.
He was a member of Pipe Liners Local Union 798.
Jim is survived by his mother, Ada Hill, Clear Lake; two brothers, Ken (Darcie) Hill, Clear Lake, and Tim Hill, Clear Lake; nephews and nieces, Charlie, Taylor and Hunter Hill; uncles and aunts, Robin (Pat) Hill, Mason City, Jim (Deb) Hill, Garner, Iowa, Bonnie (Rudy) Scheibel, Forest City, Iowa and Terry (Ozzie) Tobey, Las Vegas, Nev.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hill; and aunts and uncles.
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
