Jeffery J. Perkins
Jeffery (Jeff) James Perkins, 60, of Madison, Wis. passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.
A celebration of life was held in Oregon, Wis. on Jan. 9, 2016.
Jeff was born on Feb. 17, 1955, the son of Marjorie Perkins and the late Arnold Perkins. He graduated from Madison West High School and worked for LifeSafer Ignition Interlock, in Monona, Wis., at the time of his death.
Jeff was a well loved jovial man who was extremely quick witted. He never had an enemy and loved to make people laugh, a trait he attributed inheriting from his mother and father. Throughout his lifetime he enjoyed fishing, playing poker and watching football with family and friends. He was an avid bowler on a league with his father, “Arnie.” He earned two “300 game” rings. His latest joy was shooting on a pool league with his son.
His main love and focus in life was his sons and he truly was their biggest fan in whatever they did or tried.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Marjorie Perkins, Cottage Grove, Wis.; his two sons, Cory Perkins and Cody Perkins; his sisters, Linda (Harold) Drews, Cottage Grove, and Cynthia (Jeff) Whitehurst, Clear Lake; nephew, Steven Barsness; nieces, Angela Drews, Jamie Drews, Wendy (Chad) Biederman, MaryLynn (Dan) Lockie, Lashell Whitehurst, Jessica Whitehurst and Marcilyn Whitehurst; great-nieces and nephews, Hayley, Paige, Alejah, Devon, Mason, Alexis, Kaidyn, Emma, Mackenlee and Lilliana; aunts and uncles; and numerous loving cousins and amazing friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Perkins in 2005; and his brother, Steven Perkins in 1951.
