Lau earns conference recognition

Garner-Hayfield-Ventura junior Hannah Lau earned Honorable Mention recognition in the All-Conference roster for the TIC West Division.

In league action, Lau was 11th in scoring with a 13.8 points per game average.  She was third overall in field goal percentage.  Lau was also a top rebounder, finishing third overall in the league with 138 rebounds.  She was also third in blocked shots with 16 for the season.

Lau led the Cardinals in scoring with a 12.9 ppg average.  She scored 246 points for the Cardinals in the 2015-16 season. She also led the team in steals and blocked shots.  She tallied 33 steals and 23 blocked shots for the season.  She was by far the team’s leading rebounder, with 199 total rebounds, averaging 10.5 per game.
