Mason City Hockey Team to host Ames in home opener

   Wednesday, night, Nov. 23, is the first home game for the Mason City Hockey Team.  Five Clear Lake High School students will take the ice as part of the team.

    CLHS students playing for the Mason City Hockey Team include, Ashley Miszewski, a senior; Cody Maulsby, a junior; and freshmen Chanse Hollatz, Ernest Miszewski and Anthony Piscopo.
    The JV plays at 6:15 p.m. and the varsity takes the ice at 8:15.  The games are played at the North Iowa Arena. 
    There are a few special events that will be taking place Wednesday night.  It is Jersey Night, so any youth players wearing a jersey will be admitted for free.  A food drive for the Iowa Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank will also be held.  Each person who brings in two can food items will receive free admission to the game.
