Robert Luedeman

Robert C. “Bob” Luedeman, 64, of Clear Lake, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

A celebration of Robert’s life was held on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at the Kinney Lindstrom Center at Opportunity Village, Clear Lake, with Pastor Rich Murray officiating. Graveside services were held at the Clear Lake Cemetery on Friday.  Family suggest memorials to Opportunity Village of Clear Lake.

Bob was born in Ft. Knox, Ky. on Feb. 13, 1951.

Bob moved to Opportunity Village, Clear Lake, in 1974, where he resided until the time of his death.  Bob enjoyed his interactions with the many staff who served him throughout the years.

He enjoyed doing crafts at the center, going to Twins games with Gary Clark and attending the Clay County Fair.  He loved listening to country music, going out to eat with the Callanan family, attending their family gatherings and spending Christmas Eve with Kathy and Jim Blanchard.  He was an avid Hawkeye and Viking fan. He spent many hours watching movies on his big screen TV, especially about dogs, like Captain Black Jack, his beloved cocker spaniel.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
