William R. Jeffrey, 74, of Clear Lake, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, in Clear Lake.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, where a charity will be established at a later date.

William Jeffrey, son of Howard and Rita (Paxson) Jeffrey, was born March 3, 1944, in Muncie, Ind.   He was a member of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church.  William moved to Clear Lake many years ago.

William enjoyed motorcycles, going to the Classic Car Show and Buddy Holly concerts in Clear Lake.

William is survived by his sister, JoAnn Stoker; sister in-law, Christine Jeffrey; niece, Seria (Blake) Gardner; nephew, Lloyd (Kathy) Stoker; niece, Laura (Roger) Ferguson; and many great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Rita Jeffrey; brother, Tom Jeffrey; brother in-law, Bud Stoker; and niece, Trenda Gomez.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
