Jean Schramm, 80, of Clear Lake, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services were held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Interim Pastor Kirk Wilkie of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.  Family suggests memorials to Jean Schramm Memorial Fund.

Jean was born March 21, 1932 in Great Yarmouth, England, the daughter of Jack and Agnes (Darby) Taylor.  She attended school in England.

Buford Floy

Buford Eugene Floy, 81, Thornton, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home.

A memorial service for Buford was held Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with Reverend Derik Yarian officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name.

As per Buford’s request his body was cremated.

Robert E. Peterson, Spencer, Iowa, passed away suddenly at Riverview Terrace Assisted Living on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.

Graveside services were held on Friday, Oct. 5, at Laurens Cemetery, Laurens, Iowa.

Robert Emanuel Peterson, son of Gustav and Christine Peterson, was raised on the family farm by Albert

June Johnson, 87, of Clear Lake, died peacefully at Ebenezer Care Center, Burnsville, Minn., on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 following a short fight with lymphoma.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at the First Congregational Church, Clear Lake, with Rev. Brad Thornton officiating.  Visitation with family will begin at  10 a.m. at the church.  Inurnment

    He was born Nov. 23, 1946 in Ventura, Iowa.
    A memorial service was held on Friday, June 22, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, Des Moines, Iowa.

    Dwayne K. Miller, 86, of 405 27th Ave. South, Clear Lake, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.
    Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Diana Hoover officiating.  Following the service he was cremated and inurnment will be in the Ft. Dodge Cemetery at a later time. Family suggests memorials to Dwayne K. Miller Memorial Fund in care of Clear Lake Bank and Trust.

N., Clear Lake, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.  A memorial service was held Monday, March 19, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Ed Bard, Chaplin of Hospice of North Iowa, officiating.  Inurnment was at the Clear Lake Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Norma G. Yuhouse Memorial Fund in care of Sandra Wolfe, 1101 S. 8th St., Clear Lake, IA 50428.
