The Clear Lake Yacht Club is ready to welcome competitors and their crew for the MC Scow National Regatta this week.

“Last year most, if not all of the regattas in the country were shut down.  So people are ready and they want to go— and we’re ready for them,” said Stuart Oltrogge, co-chairman of the June 24-27 event.

The Lions rattled off three straight wins last week before Garner-Hayfield-Ventura ended the streak, leaving Clear Lake with a 5-4 record through Thursday, June 10.
