The Lions took the field Monday night ready for action, as the Clear Lake band kept the fans

 enthusiastic during the game.  The Lions defeated Waverly-Shell Rock to advance in the Class 3A football playoffs.  Clear Lake (11-0) will now face Grinnell (8-3) on Friday night at Lions Field.  A  spot in the semifinals is on the line.  Game time is 7 p.m.  -Reporter photos by Chris Barragy
