Owen T. Klein

Owen Thomas Klein passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents, Zachary and Jennifer (Mobley) Klein, on July 8, 2015 at the Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.

Owen Thomas Klein was born May 3, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, in Mason City, Iowa.

During his brief visit on earth, Owen brought joy and happiness to his family. He and his brother, Ethan, shared special moments together.  They had their own way of communicating and Ethan loved being Owen’s big brother helping mom and dad care for him.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, with the Rev. Kathy Graves officiating.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.   

He is survived by his parents, Zachary and Jennifer Klein, Mason City; his brother, Ethan Klein, Mason City; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Donna Mobley, Mason City; paternal grandparents, Ernie and Teresa Klein, Clear Lake; his uncles, Chris (Kayla) Mobley Sparta, Wis., Nick Klein, Des Moines and Jake Klein, Clear Lake; great-maternal grandparents, Donna Mae Mobley, Osage, Iowa and Jackie Trout, Osage; great-paternal grandparents, Larry and Linda Barlow, Clear Lake and Izetta Weaver, Clear Lake; paternal great-great grandmothers, Doris Barlow and Pearl Miller, both of Clear Lake.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Richard Mobley; maternal great-grandfather, Milton E. Trout; maternal cousin, Cody Mobley; paternal great-aunt, Janeice Treloar; paternal great-grandfathers, Gerald Klein and Harold Weaver; and paternal great-great grandfathers, Dale Barlow and Lavern Miller.

Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City, was in charge of arrangements.
