Cader Classic Golf Tournament results

The 11th Annual Cader Classic Golf Tournament was held on July 31, at the Mason City Country Club with 192 golfers participating.  The tournament is held annually in memory of Cade Pleggenkuhle.

“We would like to thank all of the golfers and businesses that donated to the tournament,” said Sue Pleggenkuhle, Cade’s mother.  “We have been able to make so many contributions to the community and this is a wonderful way to keep Cade’s name and memory alive.”

Proceeds from the tournament go to local scholarships, schools and organizations.

Results of the tournaments are as follows:

•First Flight:  First Place - Mike Oimoen, Zach Monson, Cody Schwinefus and Brent Tarr; Second Place - Adam Brinkman, Dalton Olson, Jacob Urdahl and Mikayla Smith; Third Place - Reed Burkholder, Tim Helgeson, George Butkovich and Julianna Burkholder; Fourth Place - Justin Abell, Jake Mallo, Greg Dingel and Brent Dingel.

•Second Flight:  First Place - Jim Erickson, Jim Bushkofsky, Chad Bushkofsky and David Fordyce; Second Place - Doug Rurup, Dan Monson, Jason Quigley and Tom Fey; Third Place - Travis Pralle, Max Koster, JR Plantz and Darren Schrader; Fourth Place - Jason Floy, Steve Spratt, Marty Fredericks and Chris Henningson.

•Third Flight:  First Place - Ben Stealy, Bill Duesenberg, Tyler Kopriva and Josh Heuton; Second Place - Jake Sorenson, Jeff Just, Garet McKiness and Barry Wangsness; Third Place - Pat Carney, Chris Carney, Nate Carney and Gary Weber; Fourth Place - Dave Humphrey, Terry Peterson, Brett Peterson and Charlie Peterson.

•Fourth Flight: First Place - Jim McGuire, Dan Hussey, Dave Funkhouser and Kurt Lichty; Second Place - Jeremy Ainley, Andy Kern, Kory Cole and Jake Schmitt; Third Place - John Reimler, Gene Carber, Vince Hill and Mike Kuethe.  Fourth Place - Gary Miles, Hilary Henry, Jeremy Henry and Bryan McGaugh.
