Dianne Rogene Bailey

Dianne Rogene Bailey, 81, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Mark Doebel officiating.  Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Family suggests memorial contributions to the Dianne Bailey Memorial Fund.

Dianne was born Feb. 5, 1934, the daughter of Roger and Jane (Etzel) Grimm, in Mason City.  She married Paul Arthur Bailey.

A graduate of Mason City High School, Dianne continued her education at North Iowa Area Community College.  She worked at a beauty shop, at a local veterinarian as a groomer, and was a security officer at Unisys, in Clear Lake, and Kraft, in Mason City.  She most recently worked at Crisis Intervention Service, in Mason City.

Dianne enjoyed listening to music, specifically Rock and Roll; watching movies and going to the theatre; taking care of her pet animals; and riding her motorcycle.

Dianne is survived by a son, Paul (Nancy) Bailey, of Mason City; a granddaughter, Stephanie (Matt) Staver, of Ankeny, Iowa; a great-granddaughter, Elle Staver; two siblings, Doug (Sherry) Grimm, of Mason City and Arnita Meinders, of Thornton; and a brother-in-law, Greg Ryan, of Clear Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Ellis Grimm, Morton Grimm, and Sonya Ryan.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapels, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
