Leisure verbally commits to wrestle for ISU

Iowa State bolsters their class of 2017 with the addition of Ryan Leisure

Iowa Wrestle reports two-time state champion Ryan Leisure, of Clear Lake, has verbally committed to wrestle at Iowa State University.

In addition to winning back-to-back state titles for Clear Lake in 2015 (126-pounds) and 2016 (138-pounds) Lesiure was also a 2014 state finalist.  While Leisure is unsure what weight he will wrestle for Clear Lake in his senior season next winter, he reportedly told Iowa Wrestle that he plans to wrestle 149-pounds for the Cyclones.

Leisure has a total high school record of 131-6.  He was 47-1 in his sophomore and junior seasons.
