Fire destroys boat trailers

The Clear Lake Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, on Interstate 35 at the exit 188 northbound off ramp.  A 2015 Chevy 3500 Flatbed truck pulling a trailer loaded with boat trailers, was fully involved when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported and the truck and contents are a total loss with an estimated value of loss of $90,000.  The vehicle was owned by Mid American Trailer Company out of Lebanon, Mo. and driven by Dave Olson of Buffalo, Mo.-Photo courtesy of CLFD.
