Annabelle Ferris

Annabelle M. Ferris, 95, died June 20, 2016, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, Penn.

Services will be private and inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

She was the widow of Delbert Owen and Gerald Ferris. Born April 26, 1921 in Andrew, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Mayberry Sutton. Annabelle was a high school graduate and attended Drake University where she got her teaching degree. She taught public school until her retirement.

She was a member of the Iowa State Teachers Association and liked golfing, playing bridge, reading and being with family.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn A. Vogel, of Littlestown, Penn.; sons, Kurt D. Owen, of Hackensack Minn. and Karl J. Owen, of Cloquet, Minn.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Camilla Sill.
