Arlen Duesenberg

Arlen Wayne Duesenberg, from Hot Springs Village, Ark., died at home, Monday morning, June 27, 2016.  He will celebrate his 86th birthday in August in the presence of the Lord.

A Funeral Mass was held Friday, July 1, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Arlen was born in Mason City, Iowa.  He was a loyal husband, a faithful Christian and a wonderful father.  His humor, wit and wisdom have been a blessing to many  The example he set for his family is irreplaceable and worthy of emulation.  His integrity and virtue will remain a beacon to those fortunate enough to call him Dad and Grandpa.

  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 62 years, Maxigene (Tierney) Duesenberg; and his children, Timothy (Leslie) Duesenberg, Kenneth (Kathie) Duesenberg, Bonnie (Andy) Bales, Marjorie (Art) Scholten, Edgar (Virginia) Duesenberg; and son’s by love, Phuoc, Truong and An Ho; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Arlen is survived by both of his younger siblings, Richard (Eunice) Duesenberg and Jane Pedelty and their children and grandchildren.

Although we are saddened at losing his presence with us here on earth. We linger and work toward the same goal and treasure that he has now gained through the finished work of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
