William Joseph Burns, 61, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Clear Lake, died Tuesday, July 28, 2016, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2016, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Rev. Dr. Pat Hall officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
