Chris E. Bowcock
Chris E. Bowcock, 61, of Palm City, Fla. unexpectedly passed away on June 21, 2016.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Chris Bowcock will be held on Friday, July 29, at 6 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 710 North Kentucky Ave., Mason City, Iowa, with Pastor Jason Miner officiating.
Chris was born in Mason City on Sept. 29, 1954. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1973. He then attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. He moved to Florida with his wife, Raelynn, 30 years ago. He worked in the auto industry as a Master ASE Auto Technician for most of his life.
Chris loved the ocean, cars, the Vikings, board games, creating professional grade models, wildlife in his backyard, military history and his family.
He was kind to all, honest, fun loving, creative and had a great sense of humor.
Chris is survived by his wife of 37 years, Raelynn Bowcock; his brother, Ted Bowcock (Sue) of Owatonna, Minn., and his sister, Linda Bowcock, of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Frankie Bowcock; and brother, Dan Bowcock.
Memorials can be made to the family or Treasure Coast Wildlife Center in Palm City.
