Kenneth L. Moeller
Kenneth L. Moeller, age 68, a resident of Naperville, Ill., since 1969, and formerly of Clear Lake, passed on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at his home.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life was held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Naperville, with the Rev. Al Creighton officiating. Interment was in Naperville Cemetery.
He was born May 30, 1948 in Mason City, Iowa.
Kenneth grew up in Clear Lake and was a graduate of Clear Lake High School with the Class of 1966. He graduated from North Iowa Area Community College in 1969 with an associate’s degree in electronic engineering. He completed the computer science education program at Illinois Institute of Technology (I TT), Chicago, Ill. in 1975. Kenneth was hired at Bell Labs as a Technical Associate in 1969 and worked his way up to manager in 1984.
He was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, in Naperville.
Beloved husband of Linda S. Moeller (nee Krambeer), whom he married Oct. 20, 1967, at Zion Lutheran Church, in Clear Lake. He was the loving father of, Michelle (Tony) Licitra, of Naperville, and Cheryl (Jeff) York, of Oswego, Ill.; adored grandfather of, Isabella, Kayla, Samantha and Vincent Licitra; Ryan, Emily and Alex York; devoted son of, Leona Ayer, of Gainesville, Mo. and the late August E. Moeller; dear brother of, Dennis (Doris) Moeller, of Alto, N.M., Kathy Bohl, of Mountain Home, Az. and Diane (Nicolas) Tyropanis of, Richardson, Tex.; son-in-law of, the late Clifford and Dorothy Krambeer; brother-in-law of, Phillip (Lori) Krambeer, of Clear Lake, and the late Charles (the late Laura) Krambeer; fond uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
