Lester named to INA All-State team
The Iowa Newspaper Association announced its 2016 All-State Football selections Tuesday, Nov. 22. Clear Lake’s Zach Lester was a first team selection in Class 2A.
Lester, a 6’1”, 175-pound junior, was selected as a defensive back on the Class 2A All-State team.
Lester was an all-around player for the Lions. On defense, he recorded 25 solo tackles and one for a loss. He also made eight interceptions and had a fumble recovery for the Lions.
Lester was also named to the Class 2A, District 2 All-District First Team as a receiver and punter.
