House fire reported as owner cuts tree limbs
The Clear Lake Fire Department responded to a report of a possible house fire Sunday afternoon, Nov 27.
The call came in at 4 p.m. about a blaze at 1605 1st Ave. N. Upon arrival, the CLFD reported that there was smoke on scene caused by the home owner, Robert King, cutting down tree limbs.
Fire fighters were able to ventilate the fire with the use of a fan to pull smoke from the basement level.
The CLFD responded with two pumper trucks, one rescue unit and 13 firefighters. No injuries were reported and there were unknown damages.
The CLFD was assisted on scene by Clear Lake police department and Alliant Energy.
